    The e-Financial Literacy Certification Program

    A tool for financial health and security

    This program will empower you to take control of your finances to help you maximize your resources to achieve your financial goals. It provides a step-by-step guide to the financial management process as well as simple tools that you can use for every step. The course is divided into two parts: Part I features three introductory modules that provide an overview of the financial management process, while Part II contains five modules that discuss each of the steps in a more detailed manner.

  • Personal Financial Assessment

    This module enables the users to determine their attitudes about their finances and their current financial state, and defines financial management.

    Financial Goals

    This module explains the meaning, elements and importance of financial goals. It also provides a step by step guide for setting SMART financial goals.

    Financial Management Process

    This module serves as an overview of the key concepts in the financial management process. It also explains the impact of practicing sound financial management to ensuring one’s personal financial health and security.

    Interactive Comics

    The interactive comics feature two characters making decisions about their finances. The comics for each module will serve as an introduction to the topic and provide a situational context for each of the lessons.

    Videos

    The animated videos discuss key financial management concepts. Users can watch them to complement the knowledge gained from the other content. These short videos explain concepts concisely with the help of illustrations.

    Tests

    The course features a Pre-Test and a Post Test for each unit. The Pre-Test is meant to assess previous knowledge, while the Post-Test will assess the knowledge acquired through the course. Taking the tests are prerequisites to proceeding to the next module.

    Activities

    The interactive tools for each module can be used to apply the lessons learned in the module. Each of the tools are printable so that users can have access to them offline. The tools ensure that the users can immediately apply their learnings to their own finances.
